Winter has arrived here in the Northern hempisphere. The burnt orange, red and yellow leaves are falling. Encouraged by a chilly wind and rain.
We are in the season of slowing and dark descent.
— out of the fire of late summer and into the metal element
the dry, contraction that is winter. The season of release, reflection, and refinement
and 100 days until the end of 2025.
The clocks turn back in the UK on Sunday,
In the Northern Hemisphere we just crossed the fall equinox,
a time of reviewing, reconciling, releasing old paradigms,
and planning for the long dark ahead. The veil is thin, we are able to cast especially powerful spells by releasing the old
and exhausted parts of our lives, just likethe falling leaves of Autumn/ Winter,
so we can unburden and travel lighter.

The gates of teshuvah (תשובה) are open.
Teshuvah is about repentance or making amends,
but while contrition is part of our experience,
the true frequency of the word is
